{"id":1727,"date":"2017-04-03T11:06:44","date_gmt":"2017-04-03T09:06:44","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/dieticiansatwork.co.za\/blog\/?p=1727"},"modified":"2017-04-03T11:07:56","modified_gmt":"2017-04-03T09:07:56","slug":"fresh-tuna-salad","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/dieticiansatwork.co.za\/blog\/fresh-tuna-salad\/","title":{"rendered":"Fresh Tuna Salad"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>[et_pb_section admin_label=&#8221;section&#8221;][et_pb_row admin_label=&#8221;row&#8221;][et_pb_column type=&#8221;4_4&#8243;][et_pb_text admin_label=&#8221;Text&#8221; background_layout=&#8221;light&#8221; text_orientation=&#8221;left&#8221; use_border_color=&#8221;off&#8221; border_color=&#8221;#ffffff&#8221; border_style=&#8221;solid&#8221;]<\/p>\n<p>Ingredients:<\/p>\n<p>8 baby potatoes<br \/>\n180g green beans<br \/>\n500g tuna steaks<br \/>\n1 Tbs soya sauce<br \/>\n1 small onion, finely chopped<br \/>\n1 cup cherry tomatoes<br \/>\n10 slices of cucumber<br \/>\n2 Tbs chopped peppadews<br \/>\n2 Tbs chopped olives<br \/>\n2 Tbs fresh dill, finely chopped<br \/>\n2 tsp capers, rinsed, drained and chopped<\/p>\n<p>Dressing:<\/p>\n<p>2 Tbs white wine vinegar<br \/>\n1 tsp Dijon mustard<br \/>\n1 clove garlic, crushed<br \/>\nSalt and black pepper to taste<br \/>\n1 Tbs olive oil<\/p>\n<p>Method:<br \/>\n1 Boil the potatoes. Cut them into quarters when they are cooked.<br \/>\n2 Trim the beans and cut them into 5cm lengths. Steam them until they are cooked but still crunchy.<br \/>\n3 Grill the tuna steaks with a little soya sauce until cooked as desired. Once cooked, allow to stand for 10 minutes and then cut into blocks.<br \/>\n4 Mix together all of the salad ingredients. (The salad looks particularly festive if layered.
