Many of us think mushrooms are nice to eat or only for special occasions and that they don’t really contribute any nutritional value to our daily eating plans. Let’s debunk some of those perceptions immediately!

- Mushrooms are still alive when we buy them from the supermarket so the best way to store them in the fridge is in a “breathable” container like a paper bag. It is always best to buy mushrooms from reputable supermarkets to ensure they are safe for eating.
